About me

I´m Sara Vega, I live in Santiago de Chile and I own the only Somalí Cattery -long hair Abisinians- in Chile, only breed I work with. Since 2011 when my first cats arrived, I have been dedicated to cultivate healthy, loved and good character cats. Since this is a little and familiar cattery there are no more than 1 or 2 litters per year.

My main goal is the wellbeing of my cats, they are not only breeding cats but my familiy as well, they are raised as my pets and I give them the best care I can provide. This way of breed give them a lovely character, they are extremely sociable and I hope all kittens leaving my home have this qualities.

We usually attend to most of the events organized in Santiago de Chile, expos, shows, etc. We like to show and teach people more of this breed and also educate about cat responsible owinership and masify the knowledge of cats and their needs.

The name of my cattery is "Per Bast" (PR BȝSTT), It means "The domain of Bast" or "Home of Bast" in ancient Egiptian language, this in honour of my Birman cat, who after many years without having cats brougth back to my home the happiness and magic.
